Training went really well today. And we have another few training tonight and tomorrow. We are excited to open!! With that being said, we really need 6-7 more people ready to work. So if you know of anyone looking for a job, please send them my way. Would love to give them a chance! Please remember though, they MUST be able to pass a drug test.

I can work with all schedules. I have quite a few school kids working too, so that’s great! But I am really in need of earlier shift people right now. Ones that can be here by 8 or 9 am.

If anyone missed our open interviews last Saturday, and are still wanting to apply, please contact us. I am doing more interviews today and tomorrow.

Update on opening:

We are close!! Insurance and workers comp is done, now we are waiting for the new business license. And that should be within the next few business days! Today we are calling and hiring employees and getting that process started. And then will be scheduling training next week. My GOAL is to be running next weekend, the 4th and 5th of September.

Gift Cards & Gift Certificates Update

Due to existing non-disclosure agreements, we are not yet able to respond in full to the questions and comments regarding gift certificates. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

We would like to share the following update:

Upon finalization of the sale of our business, the new owners have agreed to honor all gift certificates purchased between 11/01 and 2/01.

For customers who prefer not to continue services with the new ownership, we (Jordan and Mary) will personally provide a 100% cash refund for any certificates purchased within that same 90-day timeframe.

If any part of this information changes, we will provide an update here immediately. Regardless, all certificates purchased between 11/01 and 2/01 will be honored and properly taken care of.

After much thought & with the heaviest hearts, we want to share that Walter’s Auto Wash will be closing its doors as of February 1st, 2026.

For the past 23 years, this business has been so much more than a place of work — it has been a blessing and a way for our family to connect with an incredible community. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for every customer who walked through our doors, every kind word spoken, every recommendation made, and every bit of support you gave us along the way.

You trusted us, supported us, and became part of our story. Many of you have watched me grow, then my family grow, and we watched yours as well. Those relationships are what we will cherish most.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you, for choosing small and local, and for being such a meaningful part of our lives for the last 23 years. This chapter may be closing, but the memories, friendships, and gratitude will stay with us forever.
