Buying brand new construction. What warranties protect you on the purchase of a new home. Most builders provide a 1 year warranty covers materials and workmanship; 2 year warranty covers the workability of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other mechanical systems.
5 year covers various types of water infiltration and internal leaks and lastly 10 year warranty covers the structural integrity of the home. Do all builders follow this protocol? Is their real advantages of buying a brand new home if the builder does not stand by their product.? What are your thoughts?
