As the sun sets on a remarkable career, we would like to celebrate Ed LoPinto, a man whose dedication and service have fueled the hearts of many, just as he has fueled their homes. For over three decades, Ed's journey with Meyer Oil Company has been one of unwavering commitment and invaluable camaraderie. From the bustling streets of Brooklyn, where his journey began, to the tranquil roads of Pennsylvania, Ed's path has been paved with perseverance and passion.
Ed's early days at a Pontiac Dealership in Manhattan honed his skills and shaped his work ethic, a foundation that would carry him through a successful transition to the oil industry. Ed began in the oil industry working for Pennsylvania Fuel Oil Company in Brooklyn, New York. His move to Meyer Oil Company was not just a change of employment but a leap towards a new life, one that saw him embrace the Central Pennsylvania community.
Ed began his career at Meyer Oil Company in the service department as a service technician. In the service department, Ed's technical expertise shone brightly, but it was behind the wheel of his delivery truck where he found his true calling. There, he connected with customers, sharing stories and smiles, leaving a lasting impression with every drop of fuel delivered. His love for cars, evident since childhood, never waned. Ed's 1963 Impala station wagon stands as a testament to his lifelong passion, and dedication to restoration and the joy of the open road. Ed is a member of the AACA in Hershey and enjoys attending and participating in car shows.
Ed's love extends beyond the engines and steel, enjoying time cherished with his son and granddaughters. Their shared moments are the fuel for his soul, as he imparts wisdom and makes memories. As he prepares to trade the chill of Pennsylvania winters for Florida's embracing warmth, alongside his beloved Rosemary, we envision Ed's days filled with sunshine and the soft hum of well-tuned engines.
To Ed, the man who has been more than a driver but a friend, a mentor, and an inspiration, we offer our heartfelt congratulations on your retirement. CONGRATULATIONS TO LONNIE BRIGHTBILL
50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
MEYER OIL COMPANY

Lonnie started working at H L Meyer July 17, 1972. When he started he was the most quiet employee. (After 50 years, that has changed) Lonnie was certified as Master Technician in May of 1980. Lonnie is a very dependable, knowledgeable technician and a true professional. Although Lonnie is semi-retired, we are lucky to have Lonnie still helping out part time to keep the service department running smoothly and our inventory received, stocked and organized.

Lonnie graduated from Lebanon High School in 1969. While attending high school Lonnie was a star football player and a track star. Lonnie has 2 daughters, Holly and Jennifer. Lonnie enjoys fishing and hunting with his grandson. He is active in the Izaak Walton League and is a Penn State football fan.
