Hey everyone, some of you know, Jerry had to spend another 11 days in the hospital. He had more tests, procedures, and his first round of chemotherapy while there. This has been more difficult than we could ever describe. And even though we are now home, it still hasn't been any easier. The pain is still very bad even with the very strong meds they have him on. He still can't really eat anything more than liquids. He also can't get much sleep because he can't get comfortable. He has already had to have fluid drained from his abdomen twice. The first time they took out 1 liter, the second time was just shy of 2 liters. He is already scheduled to go back Monday morning to have fluid drained again. We have a long 2 weeks of appointments coming up, and it looks like he will be having his second round of chemotherapy over Christmas. We would have never expected to spend the holidays like this. We still need all the help we can get. This is slow season at the shop so there is no extra money for expenses. If you can help at all we would truly appreciate it.
