Remember there are 2 typically two ways to have water in your RV or camper.
-- Fresh water holding tank-- sizes range from 20 gal to over 100 gal and are supplied via 12V water pump (gets power from your converter via 12V battery).
-- Water is approx. 8.34 lbs per gallon, so make sure you calculate the freshwater weight you will be carrying.
-- City water inlet: this is typically a direct connection located on the exterior of the camper or could be in a compartment and make sure you use a standard RV drinking water hose (typically white) and it is recommended to add a water pressure regulator to help prevent leaks inside the camper.
If you haven't filled up your freshwater tank for a while or if you have left old water in there from your last trip (which was last year), consider draining the tank and cleaning it before your next use.
You can also purchase inline water filters to help keep contaminants out and taste better.
