Project 1 of 3, fixing all of Harper's problems before I can pull the stocker motor.

Today, cracked exhaust repair. Reminded that I am more of a grinder than a welder, especially on contaminated stainless steel exhaust pipe using the MIG welder instead of TIG since I only have .030 stainless MIG wire.

Tomorrow, for project 2, we see just how much oil Harper can spill on the floor, and maybe replace a bad cam sensor if youtube can teach us.

Not the weekend we wanted to start the season. Put a new East Coast alternator on the '69, got the '68 down from the upper deck, made one run and after a nice 1.48 sixty foot launch she ate a bearing from sitting too long. Thought it was a fuel problem, changed the Q-jet and it locked up at idle in the pit.

Looks like the seat in the '69 is getting moved for the August Mid Atlantic S/SS event at Mason Dixon for Matt while the silver motor goes out for a quick repair.

Anyone coming to Mason Dixon Dragway to spectate or wanna be crew for next weekend's Mid-Atlantic S/SS and .90 race? I need help unloading my cars. Will pay weekend crew pass and provide drinks/cooler/fridge, delux accommodation in the LQ if desire, **may not have running water, but will have electricity.

Mostly help loading and unloading, if a you go getter, we can put up the big awning and picnic table. Hoping to race two stockers sat. and one stocker sunday. I live 15 mins from the track and would like to unload Friday evening to confirm all cars start, move and are ready for sat, but likely will not be testing on Friday.

**Shouldn't** need any mechanical assistance, one car getting a new alt and belt, other car hopefully will fire right up and continuing to be the soldier it has been.

Sorry, no Hemi glory this time around, but if you are able bodied enough to push a car on the flat, and you want a free weekend at the track, send me a message and let's talk.

If you are a .90 person, I will overlook that short coming.

Seriously, if anyone has a young helper, teenager, knows anyone local, etc. I need a helping hand to get the car in and out the big trailer to support this race. Message me directly here.
