The Guardian crew is at the 2026 Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association Summer Conference, August 9–12 in Green Bay—and we brought a couple of things worth stopping by to see.

We even recruited Sgt. Renee Stoik from UW-Eau Claire Police to help set up the booth…and somehow she ended up volunteering for car-washing duty too. 😂 Thanks for getting us show-ready, Renee!

From downtown Ely to the roads leading toward the Boundary Waters, Ely Police Department officers serve a community shaped by northern Minnesota’s rugged landscape, close-knit relationships, and the thousands of visitors who come to experience the outdoors. The department provides 24/7 coverage for a city widely known as the gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

This new Dodge Ram 1500 was built to support those officers with the visibility, organization, and technology they need throughout every shift.

The build features:

• Whelen Engineering Company, Inc. lighting and CORE control system
• Setina Manufacturing partition and rear storage
• Havis, Inc computer dock
• Stalker Radar

Our technicians put a tremendous amount of hard work into this truck—from the wiring and equipment integration to the final fit, finish, and inspection. Their attention to detail is what turns a collection of components into a clean, dependable patrol vehicle built around the officer using it.

We are proud of our team, grateful for the trust of the Ely Police Department, and thankful for the officers who work every day to protect Ely’s residents, businesses, visitors, and surrounding community.

From the neighborhoods of Bayport to the roads along the St. Croix River, Bayport Police officers serve a close-knit community where strong relationships and dependable public safety matter every day.

This new Chevy Tahoe was built to support that work with a clean, functional layout and equipment positioned around the officer in the driver’s seat.

The build features:

• Whelen lighting, CORE control system, and sirens
• Westin push bumper
• Setina partition
• Havis laptop mount
• Stalker radar
• Setina triple-stack rear storage system

The Setina triple-stack system helps keep essential equipment organized, secure, and easy to access from the rear of the vehicle, giving officers a more efficient workspace throughout the shift.

We appreciate the opportunity to build for the Bayport Police Department and are grateful for the work their officers do to protect residents, support local businesses, assist visitors, and help keep this historic river community safe.

More than 2,400 miles from Guardian, Skagway Police Department knew exactly what they wanted: a K9 Tahoe built with the quality, functionality, and support needed for Alaska.

This vehicle was designed for demanding conditions, limited winter daylight, and the daily work of serving a remote community.

The build features:

• Full SoundOff Signal lighting package
• Westin Public Safety Division push bumper
• Setina Manufacturing partition and K9 kennel
• Hot-N-Pop system, kennel fan, and interior lighting
• Setina ManufacturingTriple-stack electronics and storage system
• Custom graphics by Dynamic Fleet Designs

Distance did not stop Skagway from choosing the partner they trusted to build it right.

When an agency more than 2,400 miles away chooses Guardian, that means something.

Skagway Police Department came all the way from Alaska because they wanted a K9 vehicle built with the quality, functionality, and customer support their officers could depend on—especially in a climate where darkness, winter weather, and demanding road conditions are part of the job.

This Chevy Tahoe features a complete SoundOff Signal warning system, including a 54-inch blackout lightbar and extensive scene and intersection lighting designed to provide visibility during Alaska’s long winter nights.

The build also includes:

• Westin push bumper with PIT wrap and headlight guards
• Setina partition and two-thirds K9 kennel
• Hot-N-Pop temperature monitoring and deployment system
• Setina Rear triple-stack electronics and storage system
• Custom graphics by Dynamic Fleet Design

Every element was planned around how Skagway’s officers and K9 team will use the vehicle—from repositioning lighting to accommodate the graphics to creating clean, organized storage for essential equipment.

Distance did not stop Skagway from choosing the partner they trusted to build it right.
