If there are any boat owners needing day rate captains for booze cruising or whatever, post on this page to find a qualified captain. The rules are
1. No low balling on prices. For a captain with experience and a 100 ton license expect to pay $400 + a day.
2. Make sure your boat has the correct safety equipment and is completely sea worthy and ready to go.
3. Respect the captain's decision on weather and mechanical issues. His/her job is to keep you and your guests safe and insure you have a good time.

Good morning captains! I'm just trying to create a place where captains might be able to find work at a decent wage. I have seen pages from Florida where captains are making $500 a day just to take people on booze cruises. We, in Texas are just as capable as captains on the East coast and it's high time we quit selling ourselves short and undercutting each other just to get a job! So, if you're an experienced captain looking for work, feel free to share your experience and what you might be looking for. And be sure and share this page with other captains and owners!
