🏁 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗘𝗡-𝗠𝗢𝗥.
New engines. Transmission swaps. Converter changes. Long nights in the garage. Whatever it takes to make it to the starting line.
We've had racers sending us pictures of the work they're putting in just to be here October 8th–11th.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝗻-𝗠𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹.
But there's another side to this story. One that Carrie, our boys, Tony Mancini, and I know all too well.
𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗦, 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗦 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗧𝗢𝗢.
It's no secret that we've faced mechanical problems, equipment failures, and challenges at this facility. Some have been frustrating. Some have been expensive. And some have brought us to our knees.
But here's something we have in common with every racer working late into the night trying to get their car ready:
𝗪𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗧.
When something breaks, we fix it. When something knocks us down, we get back up. When this place tries to beat us to our knees, we stand back up, take another step, and keep moving forward.
That doesn't mean we won't have another problem tomorrow. It doesn't mean everything will always go perfectly. Race cars break. Racetracks break. Things happen.
𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗪𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗫 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠. 𝗪𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠. 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗.
That's the attitude that has kept this facility alive through everything we've faced.
𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥. 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥. 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗨𝗣.
We're not just racetrack operators. We're racers ourselves. We understand the sacrifice, the financial commitment, the disappointment, and the determination it takes to keep doing something you love.
And just as you're fighting to get your race cars to the Ken-Mor, we're fighting to make sure there's a Ken-Mor for you to come to.
𝗪𝗘'𝗥𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 — 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗘'𝗥𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗬𝗢𝗨.
Because the Ken-Mor isn't just another race on the calendar.
𝗜𝗧'𝗦 𝟱𝟲 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘, 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.
For generations, racers have worked all year for the opportunity to roll through those gates and chase something money alone cannot buy.
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚, "𝗜 𝗪𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗘𝗡-𝗠𝗢𝗥."
In our world, that's like winning the Big Go at Indy. It's a victory that becomes part of your story forever.
And perhaps the most beautiful part of this tradition isn't just the racers who win it. It's the hundreds who pour their hearts, their time, and their hard-earned money into simply being part of it.
𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗬. 𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡.
To every racer turning wrenches this week, every family making sacrifices to be here, and everyone who continues to believe in Kentucky Dragway — we see you, we appreciate you, and we're working right alongside you.
We may have different things we're working on, but we're all working toward the same thing.
𝗞𝗘𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘.
