Warning lights can come and go. Sometimes the condition that triggered the light isn’t happening at that exact moment anymore, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the underlying problem disappeared.

And simply clearing a code doesn’t repair anything.

Modern European and Asian vehicles monitor hundreds of different conditions, and a trouble code is usually a starting point for diagnosis… not an automatic answer telling you which part to replace.
