Got the second Chassis out of the storage unit this morning.
Some surface rust but nothing some WD40, ScotchBrite and little elbow grease can’t cure.. Have material on order, excited to get rolling on it!.

Thank you both for the suggestions and input. I really need to take the time to work through the iterations for sure, I usualy tend to try and Run Before I walk. If I do things like I’m thinking it will be a substantial investment w reg to tooling/plugs, and pulling molds. This front clears a 29” tire w aprox 2.5” vertical. If you set the shock up say 1.5” from fully compressed I’d say it’s good. 🤔

Had a friend save the day and was able to scan the Jeep last week. I think I’m on plan J or K, which is a long way from plan A… But just might be getting some traction surfacing things. It’s a start.

From Art to Part.

This project bout wore me out. The Design/Modeling side was relatively straignt forward. It was the getting things sourced, and parts machined and in hand that had me pulling my hair out.
I commited and sent the deposit to manufacture on 12/21/21. Parts finally landed in Clarkston 6/27/23. Through the process I think I’ve learned a few things… I think.. 🤷‍♂️
These cases have just been sitting, as I’ve been busy working to button my personal build up which was started in Dec,2018’ and just completed last month.
The roller is headed to its new home in the next few days, and I’m def excited to see where it ends up, and what combo it’ll have in the rails.
Few items need addressed before they’re available, I just may be gaining on things.
