Fundraiser dart tournament planned for Seth Brown

A community fundraiser will be held May 30 at Sports Edition, 1702 Main St., to support Seth Brown following a serious motorcycle crash on April 19 that left him facing a long recovery.

The Power Draw Dart Tournament will feature a $10 entry fee, with half of all entry proceeds going directly to Brown and his family. Sign-ups begin at 7 p.m., with the tournament starting at 7:30 p.m.

The event will also include a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, raffle items, and a booze board as the community comes together to support Brown during his rehabilitation and recovery.

I recently heard a story that talked about how important the garbage man is to a small town. Extremely simple - but catastrophic if not handled. If he didn’t show up each week, things would quickly fall apart. The community would digress fast and the environment would suffer.

It made me think about our team at Clarkston Auto Sales.

Around here, every job matters. From the mechanics, to the detailers, to the office staff, we all play a vital part in keeping this little family business moving forward.
