Job Responsibilities
• Ability to determine which specific parts or pieces of a vehicle to be repaired or replaced.
• Ability to provide an accurate automotive repair estimate that will provide accurate information regarding the work that will be required to restore a vehicle back to its pre-damaged condition.
• Ability to safely remove damaged parts of the vehicle and replace them with repaired or new parts without damaging surrounding areas.
• Personnel will implement the use of various tools and supplies to assist in removing dents and dings.
Experience
• Working with PPG paint products and downdraft paint booths.
• Must maintain a strong work ethics, attention to detail and the ability to stay abreast of trending tools and technologies as they apply to the automotive collision repair process.
• Knowledge of hand-tools and computerized automotive equipment is required.
• Proven track record of effectively communication with customers and vendors to express needs and address all concerns.
• Customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of customers to provide them with exceptional service and a positive collision repair experience.
• Welding experience.
• Must be able to multi-task to keep shop flow moving.
• General body shop repair knowledge and capabilities.
The successful candidate must be available Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. If called for an interview please be prepared to bring your I-CAR Certificate, your resume with salary history and a list of at least 3 personal and professional references.
