To all our supporters,
This message is to inform you that due to the weather, we unfortunately have to cancel this year's Motorcycle Run & Car Show event that would have taken place on Sunday, September 24th.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to seeing you next year, as always, the fourth Sunday of September!!
Our mission continues to be to help children, and their families, as they fight cancer.
This is our one main fundraiser and helps us support our work all throughout the year. We know firsthand the generosity of so many of you, and so many familiar faces, year after year, who attend this event, and give so generously.
Donations made in the name of your family or friends that lost their life to this abhorrent disease, or in the memory of Jason, or maybe just because this cause became something that mattered to you.
I am heartbroken at the idea that by needing to cancel this event not only will cause us to not be able to provide more support to those our organization serves, but actually may create a loss of monies that were meant to be spent for something impactful, not deposits or other expenses we can’t recoup.
Of course we will continue to update this page with more info…. I am cautiously optimistic that I will be able to share some good news with our supporters about what may be happening to mitigate our losses!
So, with all that said and in response to some of the messages I received, I said I would post ways to still help us, and now our Venmo -friends-1 or scam the picture below. If you still would like to make a donation to the Jason‘s friends foundation to support us in our work, rain be damned, that is one way that would certainly help!!!
Thank you again to all who have worked so hard the last 11 months, especially the Jason's Friends Foundation Inc Board members and huge thank you to all who were going to participate in and attend our Marquis event. I’ll share more later about the vendors and their links if I can, too! Thank you again and stay safe this weekend!!!
