After your two plus year struggle with Lewy Body Dementia you are finally at peace. Although we knew this was coming and all the many prayers to the Lord to ease your pain and comfort you, I still wasn’t ready. You are our last parent which is probably even more difficult. When mom passed you did everything to keep her memory and traditions alive and make sure we knew how loved we were. I loved teasing you until the end. I’ll never forget your last words to me “I love you too”. Or the fact that even when you could no longer speak, weren’t eating or drinking and were pretty heavily medicated I ask you to open your eyes so I could see those beautiful baby blues and you did. I will cherish our memories until we meet again. I love you daddy ❤️
