**“Aren’t auction cars just somebody else’s junk?”**

For years, even we were pretty skeptical of auction vehicles.

And sometimes? There’s a reason a vehicle ended up there.

But we’ve also learned that plenty of really good vehicles go to auction for a much simpler reason: **they were the wrong vehicle on the wrong dealer’s lot for too long.**

A Ford truck traded at a Honda store may simply not fit their customer base. Once it reaches their inventory-age limit, it may head to auction.

That can be a great opportunity for us — **but only if the vehicle makes the grade.**

That’s where our reconditioning team comes in.

We check the history. We drive it at highway speeds. We check transmission operation, A/C, brakes, tires, 4x4/AWD systems, safety technology and well over 100 other potential concerns.

And roughly **20% of the vehicles we evaluate don’t make our front line.**
