Today, we pause to remember someone who will always be part of the Mims Wrecker Service family — Lane Frazer.
Lane worked at our Selma location, and to know him was to love him. He was dependable, kind, and carried himself with a quiet strength. Whether it was in the middle of the night on a call or just lending a hand around the shop, Lane gave 100% every single day. He had a heart for helping others and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Last year, we lost Lane — a heartbreaking reminder of how deeply important mental health is, especially in the towing, trucking, and transportation industries where long hours and quiet struggles can take a heavy toll.
His family has since created a powerful movement in his memory: Changing Lanes 95 — a page dedicated to raising awareness for mental health and su***de prevention, especially among those who work on the road. Through this platform, Lane’s story is helping break the silence and offering hope to others who may be silently struggling.
We miss Lane every single day. His absence is felt deeply in Selma and across every Mims location. But his life continues to inspire change and healing — and we’re proud to support his legacy.
