The Clam Lake Junction is located in downtown Clam Lake, Wisconsin in Northern Wisconsin's Chequamegon National Forest. The 6 room hotel & convenience store is conveniently situated at the intersections of Hwy 77 (part of the Great Divide National Scenic Highway), Cty M & Cty GG only a short drive from Hayward, Cable, Glidden and Mellen, Wisconsin. Owning any business or home , you can rest assured there are times when you need to seek out a professional contractor. We recently hired a long time family friend of my sons who has a carpentry, handyman service based in Butternut. Nick Anderson was hired to restain the entire building and trim and had a long punch list of fix its as he went around the building. I cant say enough about his work. Professional and productive with fantastic results within budget. I know he is slammed with work for the summer but if anyone needs work done as fall and winter approach, this is the guy!! Thank you Nick!!

The local traffic patterns have been very altered since beginning of June because of a bridge construction project that has closed Hwy GG north between Clam Lake and Mellen. I stopped last night to take a picture of the progress. Its a great looking bridge and looks like its nearing completion with approach paving done yesterday. Nice work by all involved. If anyone in the loop can comment on an expected partial or full open date, it woould be appreciated!!
