This is the newest pirogue built for a customer. It's made for gigging flounder or using anywhere where the water is a little rough. It has higher sides and a wider bottom, a rear polling deck and a storage compartment.

Hey folks, I bet you didn't know that I also make "Banquet Boats"! What is a banquet boat? It's a small replica Louisiana pirogue that is filled with boiled crawfish, shrimp, or crab... or even soda, wine or beer. They are a traditional mainstay at any Mardi Gras Fais do-do or other Louisiana style celebration. I make the boat, you fill it and then as we say in Louisiana "Laissez les bons temps rouler".
