Brief Narrative of Incident:
On May 6, 2026, at approximately 9:25 AM, Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to McKee Equipment Co., in the Town of Cincinnatus, to investigate a larceny that had occurred overnight. Through the Officer’s investigation, it was discovered that the defendant, Christopher A. Leonard, was responsible for stealing property from the business. Mr. Leonard was not located right away and an Arrest Warrant was issued for him. On May 13, 2026, Mr. Leonard was arrested and transported to the Public Safety Building for processing. Mr. Leonard was arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process, where he was remanded to the Cortland County Jail without bail, his next Court appearance is scheduled in the Town of Cincinnatus Court on May 20, 2026 at 7:15 PM.
