It's race day! Track is back to the full off-road config. Planning on light night due to beautiful weather and an 1/8th scale race at Ellis Raceway. Prepare to be a little flexible with classes. Already multiple SCT and Grom on track practicing. Should easily get 3 rounds of qualifying tonight.

If running late, please call ahead and leave your name and preferred classes.

Since we expect a lighter night tonight because of the beautiful weather and the race tomorrow at Ellis Raceway, we plan to have a little fun tonight with the track plan. We have 3 options to run.....

1. Original offroad layout that we ran for the last Points Series Race.
2. Short track. Blue Line
3. Long track, once around. Red Line.

Please let us know if you have a preference.

We are ready for the door prizes next week. There are enough stickers and small things not shown on the wheel that everyone should get a handful.

Points series final results. Trophies in top 3 of all classes except Novice (1st only due to failing entries) and Pro Stock Mini-B (top 8 due to great numbers through the series). We did not provide trophies for Mini-B Brushless due to a turnout of only 10 racers over the entire series.

Some interesting finishes, Rob Nichols and Andy Nelson tied for second in 4wh. Rob takes 2nd due to the tie breaker, highest point drop.

We've been working on stuff for next weeks Points Series banquette. Trophies are ready for pickup.. Spent the night typing names in to a spinner wheel for the door prizes, 600 entries over the 10 week series. Every entry earned you a spot on the spinner. Hobbytown employees are not eligible so that makes it more like 500 names to pick from.

Will post the final points sheets later this afternoon.

Good luck to our racers heading to the JConcepts ONS race in VA this weekend. We hope you actually get to run outdoors. At least there is an indoor track as a fallback plan so the weekend is not lost.

Ben Ellis is hosting a race Saturday at his track that a few others will be attending, also hoping for good weather for you guys.

This week will be a club race for us. Next week will be the banquette and first race of the Mini Truck Series June 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th. Flyer posting this weekend.

Oval racing Memorial Day, Monday May 25th.

Doors open at 10am, racing will start at 2pm, should be finished around 5pm depending on turnout.

It's race day, the perfect kind of race day for an indoor track, dreary and rainy.

Come in out of the rain and enjoy a night of racing. This is the final points series night, race 10. Quite a few trophies on the line.

Signups close at 6:30, racing starts at 7pm. Last week was 3 heats, and mains and out the door before 10.
