Schaffer’s Towing is looking for fill an immediate opening for a Class A CDL Heavy Duty Operator. This position comes with a minimum starting salary of $65k/ year plus commission based on experience. Position would be a 50 hour work week with rotating weekends on call. Schaffer’s offers health care, retirement with company match and vacation after one year. Applicant MUST have verifiable heavy duty towing experience. Stop in to complete an application.

-Secure equipment for movement with minimal instruction once training has completed.

People have asked, “Why are you getting rid of our airbag recovery trailer?” This is our replacement, our crew took one of our old rollbacks and retrofitted it with this beverage body. Hedinger Equipment supplied a Nightscan light, Boogey Lights provided new interior lighting and Bridgetown Welders fabricated shelving exactly how we wanted it. We then added all the supplies that we wanted for recoveries. She isn’t quite complete, we will be adding a holding tank with FlowStop transfer pump for fuel recoveries and she still needs decaled up with help from Slusher signs.
Schaffer’s has another fresh truck coming in the next couple weeks which means we will have a seat available soon. We are looking for a full time rollback driver. Clean MVR, criminal record and drug test required. 25 and older for our insurance. Apply at 4270 Harrison Ave Cincinnati 45211

1987 Hackney 16 bay beverage trailer.
Cushion truck is just about completed and we are ready to unload our old trailer.
All dividers are still in place in trailer. Several of the bays still have shelving in them. Strobe lights have been added to the rear of the trailer and interior lighting has also been added trailer was used as an air cushion recovery trailer. Everything has been cleared out of it and it is ready to work. Lettering will be removed before pick up.
ACCEPTING REASONABLE OFFERS. WOULD LIKE IT TO GO SOONER THAN LATER. 
44k Dollie is lettered with reflective and almost ready to go. Bus pin brackets and we’ll be set.

Three trips to Michigan in the past week bringing back antique fire trucks. Here we have a 1950 Ahrens-Fox, a 1917 Ahrens-Fox water tower and a 1927 Ahrens-Fox Aerial. Next week we will back back up for four more trucks.
What an amazing project that we got to be a part of.
Utilized our Dollie’s from Big D’s to move this container box ice cream shop. The cooling system and solar panels made the unit too tall to go on a Landoll or rollback. Moved about 40 miles without any issues.

The Cincinnati Zoo has been preparing for years to debut Elephant Trek. Four elephants arrived last month, bringing the zoo elephant total to eight.

Kids, Cops 'n Firefighters hosts an annual shopping event to benefit disadvantaged children and their families each year. The organization does their best to put a smile on every child’s face during the holiday season. All of the funding for the event comes from private donations. This year, they are doing a t-shirt fundraiser. All of the proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts, along with generous donations from sponsors, will go directly to the program.
