Carwash tip of the day!

Q: Are regular carwashes beneficial?

A: Absolutely!!

- Eliminates abrasive dirt, road salt, bird droppings, and tree sap that eat away at clear coats.
- Clears corrosive winter salt, corrosive road grime, brake dust, and moisture traps from the undercarriage.
- Maintains a cleaner exterior, which helps keep a higher resale value.
- Cleans windshields, side mirrors, and lights so you can see better at night.
- Minimizes heavy layers of dirt, which can slightly help with fuel economy by actually increasing your cars aerodynamics.

Carwash tip of the day! Just in time for our first "Why Wednesday". And its a hot topic!!

Why High-Pressure Soap Lacks Suds????

1. High pressure: Water at a high PSI breaks apart emerging bubbles before they can form a thick foam.
2. No Air Injection: Unlike low-pressure foam brushes or triple-foam wax, high-pressure lines do not mix compressed air into the stream to fluff up the soap.
3. Function Over Apperance: High-pressure soap is designed to cut through grease and road film chemically rather than create a rich lather, which is MOSTLY for show anyway.
4. There's no soap. Very rarely the problem
5. Time of day slightly effects the appearance of the suds. ie brightness, humidity etc(small differences)

Now, have there been times we do not have soap entering the system, yes absolutely. In 6 months since we have owned it, it has been less then 6 times. 4 of those times have been chasing the same problem that was actually just over diluting the soap which has been fully corrected.

Pro Tip: When using the Self Serve Wash, make sure and use the presoak! Fully coat your vehicle from top to bottom. It will eat away the majority of bugs, road grime, bird poo etc! Follow that with HP soap, foam brush on windshields, grill/bumpers, HP rinse, HP wax/sealant, and finish off with Spot free rinse! Takes on average $8.

Update: We are back up and running!!

Automatic bay #1 is down with a busted hydraulic line. Will be up and running as soon as possibe.

Both Self Serve bays are fully functional!

On the brighter side of things!! After our nightly cleaning, we played chemist for a bit with HP soap!

After numerous different types of high pressure soap, different mixing ratio tips, and different pressures for months, we have found the perfect combination!

Result: High foaming and high performing soap without sacrificing pressure!

We are striving to continue to improve your experience, one improvement at a time!

Good afternoon!

If you have noticed "lack" of or "no" high pressure soap in the self serve bays lately we apologize! However today we believe we found the culprit and solved the intermittent recurring issue!!

Along with solving the problem we are trying a new high pressure soap that suds up a little bit better.
