When calling for a new windshield and providing the VIN, we will most likely ask a few more questions or ask for pictures to ensure we order the correct windshield:
— “Do you have rain sensors, lane departure or heads up display?”
If you’re unsure- here’s how you can tell:

💧Rain sensors automatically activate and adjust the windshield wipers based on the intensity of rain fall. This ensures optimal visibility without the need for manual wiper adjustments.

🛣️ Lane Departure Warning (LDW) cameras help prevent unintended lane departures by monitoring road markings and providing visual, auditory, or haptic alerts when the vehicle begins to drift without signaling.

⚠️ Heads up Display (HUD) projects key metrics on the windshield to assist you while driving: displays your current speed alongside the local speed limit, navigation, driver assist, & warning alerts.

Every vehicle is different! If you’re still unsure, send us a picture of the outside of your windshield. We can identify which sensors your vehicle has by looking for these shapes and the locations of them!

👉🏼 We can also recalibrate these sensors if they ever stop working or when the windshield is replaced!
