Apparently, regular wheels weren’t aggressive enough.

Nope. Somebody needed a set of big, beefy, heavy-duty off-road wheels powder coated in a gorgeous matte military green that looks like it belongs on a vehicle with a classified mission and absolutely terrible gas mileage. 😂

And we’re not gonna lie...

THESE THINGS LOOK FREAKING BADASS.

No flashy chrome. No ridiculous glitter. No shiny finish reflecting the sun into the eyes of innocent civilians.

Just that tough, understated, military-inspired green that says:
“I don’t know where we’re going, but there’s probably not a paved road involved.” 😎

Oh, you wanted black? Cute. We can do better. 😏

At first glance, this frame looks black.

Then the light hits it and suddenly…

BAM. BLUE GLITTER EVERYWHERE. ✨💙

This thing has a deep black base loaded with gorgeous blue metallic flake, then finished with a clear so glossy and wet-looking that we’re still not entirely convinced somebody didn’t dip the whole damn frame in glass.

It’s dark. It’s subtle-ish. It’s classy.

And then you walk around it and the blue starts sparkling like the frame has been keeping a secret from you. 😂

That’s exactly why finishes like this are so damn cool. You don’t need fluorescent neon or some crazy bright color to make a frame stand out. Sometimes you just need black, a ridiculous amount of depth, some blue sparkle, and enough gloss to make it look permanently wet.

Yeah… we may have created a problem here.

You bring us a valve cover thinking, “I just want to clean it up and maybe add a little color.”

Then we powder coat the damn thing in THIS gorgeous metallic blue.

Now you’ve got a valve cover looking like a million bucks while everything around it suddenly looks like it came out of a 20-year-old parts bin. 😂

That’s the danger nobody warns you about.

First it’s the valve cover.

Then you’re staring at the brackets.

Then the intake.

Then random metal parts you didn’t even know you cared about five minutes ago.

Next thing you know you’re standing at our shop holding half your engine bay going, “Okay… do these too.” 🤦‍♂️😂

Powder coating gives your metal parts a durable, corrosion-resistant finish, but unfortunately it also has the side effect of making them look really freaking good.

Seriously, nobody warns you about this part.

You bring in an old bike frame thinking, “Eh, let’s clean it up and give it a cool new color.”

Then you get it back.

And now you’re staring at it from different angles like a psychopath every time the light hits it. 😂

Suddenly you’re taking pictures of it. Showing your friends. Walking back into the garage just to look at it one more time.

Then you notice the forks could use some love...

Then the wheels...

Then another bike...

Congratulations. You have a problem now.

Seriously. Don’t do it. Especially not in some ridiculously gorgeous fuchsia-purple-whatever-the-hell-this-color-is like these UTV suspension parts.

Here are three very important reasons:

1. Your parts won’t look like boring factory metal anymore.

Terrible. Now people are going to notice your suspension and ask what color it is. You’ll have to talk to them and everything. 😒

2. They won’t rust and corrode as easily.

Awful. You mean you’re telling us a tough powder coated finish can help protect parts that spend their lives getting blasted with dirt, mud, rocks, and questionable decisions? Who wants that?!

3. Your off-road build might actually look way better.

This is probably the worst one. Now you’ve got these gorgeous metallic fuchsia-purple suspension parts underneath your UTV and suddenly your buddy’s stock suspension looks like absolute garbage. Way to ruin the friendship. 🙄

So there you have it.

Three perfectly good reasons to NOT not get your off-road parts powder coated.

These vintage hot rod wheels just got powder coated in a gorgeous gold finish, and suddenly this build looks like it has a trust fund. 😏

There’s something about old-school wheels and gold that just works. It’s got that classic Kustom Kulture vibe with just enough “yeah, I spent money on this thing” attitude.

Back in the day, hot rods were built to be loud, fast, and completely unnecessary. We’re pretty sure this is a valve cover. If it isn’t… let’s all just agree it looks way cooler now anyway. 😏

Finished in a blazing hot orange, this thing is giving off serious “pop the hood and make everyone say WHOA” energy. This isn’t a color that quietly sits in the engine bay. Oh no. This is the kind of orange that introduces itself before the engine even starts. 🍊💥
