UPPER COOK INLET DIPNETTERS – Please Read‼️
Are you thankful for all the Sockeye salmon you dipnetted this past summer? So are we!
BUT If you haven’t reported your salmon harvest yet this year, you may not be able to fish next year. Folks who did not report by the August 31st reporting deadline have been placed on the Failure to Report List which prevents them from getting a permit in 2026. Only if you REPORT your harvest and email us an APPEAL letter explaining why your harvest was late, can you be removed from the Failure to Report List and allowed to fish again next year. Even if you did not go fishing, you still must report that information.
We want all Alaskan residents to have the opportunity to harvest the abundant returns of Sockeye Salmon to the Kenai, Kasilof, and Susitna Rivers as well as Fish Creek. Help us help you feed your family with this sustainable, delicious source of protein by reporting your salmon harvest TODAY! The deadline to report and email in an appeal letter is Sunday, November 30th 2025.
How to report and appeal
If you don’t have your permit number anymore, you can enter your personal information and find your permit by going to our harvest reporting webpage.
