‼️‼️Friendly PSA regarding accident claims, estimates, and your insurance company‼️‼️

This could get lengthy but I feel like vehicle owners are being left in the dark. First and foremost, you have the right to take YOUR vehicle to ANY repair facility OF YOUR CHOICE. It’s your vehicle, and it is AGAINST THE LAW for an insurance company to make you take your car where they “steer” you. It doesn’t matter if the shop you want to use is not on their preferred list.

Second: If you make a claim and insurance only sends you XX amount of dollars and you instantly think “well this isn’t going to cover it”, you’re absolutely correct. The insurance company doesn’t want you to bring your vehicle in for repairs because it’s going to cost them more $$ once it gets in the shop. We write a supplement on 99% of the cars we repair for additional damages, part price differences, and much much more. It is the insurance company’s responsibility to repair your vehicle to pre-loss condition.

Third: We can and will write an estimate for almost every insurance company out there with the exception of Geico and Progressive, respectively. Geico and Progressive have their own adjusters who will come to your house, job, or a shop and physically look at vehicle to write an estimate. Doesn’t mean it will be a good estimate, but they also come out and write the supplements after vehicle is in shop and torn down.

Lastly, please reach out to us if you need any assistance whatsoever. We’re on your side, and will do whatever we can to make sure your vehicle is repaired and insurance pays what they are supposed to.
