Just picked up a customers new plane in Washington and brought it back to our new facility at Brackett field for a new Garmin AXIS panel upgrade with GFC autopilot and some air frame maintenance. Each display can be configured as either a primary flight display (PFD) or multi-function display (MFD), with engine indication system (EIS) information available as part of either configuration. Things have busy at the shop with maintenance and avionics projects. From Honda Jets to a complete disassembly and rebuild of a TF-51D at Fighter Rebuilders. We were fortunate to be selected to provide panel and avionics work for this amazing aircraft.

The major news of the day is we received keys to our new facility at KPOC (Brackett) airport in La Verne. It allows us to step up our offerings with full office and showroom space as well as a conference room for meeting and training events. We have started renovation on the hangar and should be open for business soon.

It’s been awhile since my last post. I’m not good with this social media stuff. It been really busy at the shop. We sent out 2 CAP planes from annual yesterday and out plate is still full. Here is a pic of current status at the shop.

Lots of Bonanzas lately with more in the queue. In the process of overhauling main gear and brakes on one, finishing a full panel upgrade with auto pilot and annual inspection on the other.

Found this during annual inspection on a customer’s Bonanza. He said his right brake was making odd noises. 🤔

A day in the machine shop on Saturday. Replacing a sump for an experimental. The original sump was cracked in a difficult place to access for repair. We obtained the same part number sump and are machining it to match the original for the aftermarket throttlebody system. We will finish with a taper at the top to match the original sump.

Sad to see these fine folks move away. We have had the priveledge of maintaining this fine aircraft for the past year or so. This has to be the best RV-10 on the planet! An Oshkosh winner! The attention to detail is amazing! Look for at OSH again this year! (We provide concierge service so I’m happy to come to Texas and pick her up…)😉
