Every once in a while, I get the opportunity to work on something that’s bigger than paint… and this is one of those projects.
We’ve known this kid for almost 10 years, and over the last few years we’ve become even closer. After he lost his dad, I wanted to create something that would keep a part of him with him every time he throws a leg over his bike.
His mom sent me photos of his dad’s handwriting, notes, and little things he had written over the years. We incorporated those actual words into the paint so his father’s legacy is literally built into this frame.
To make it even more meaningful, the entire paint scheme was inspired by and matched his dad’s old street bike.
This one isn’t just another custom paint job. It’s a tribute. A reminder. And hopefully something he’ll carry with him every ride.
Thank you to the family for trusting me with something that means so much. ❤️
