Solid run at Moler raceway park last night. 16 total Ohio Thunder IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Series cars showed up and got a 9th place finish. Getting more comfortable in the car and faster each race, another solid top 10 and we haven't tore anything up all year so I think things are going very well. Going to try to have a video up this week of a race recap.

Thank you as always to our friends and sponsors

Race recap

Friday we ran Jackson County Speedway with the Ohio Thunder IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Series

Hotlaps/qualifying didn't go well we had some issues with the car so couldn't get a good time or feel for the track at all.

Heat race we started 6th and finished 7th car felt good but was still getting used to the new track. There were a few wild moments and close calls in front of me so I just ran my own race and did what I could to see what the car liked.

Feature time came and we fired off very well, we started 14th. The car felt better than ever and I felt very good myself so I started pushing it, I was moving up until we lost all brakes. I did what I could while still playing it safe and ended up 12th. I was really mad about the brakes because I felt like we could have moved up for a really good finish but it's part of racing.

Saturday we made the decision to run with the Gladiator Sprint Tour 410s at Atomic Speedway.

I wanted to go into this looking at it just as a practice session to get laps and get more comfortable with the car. The 410s make about double the power of what our 305s do and they weigh a good bit less so we had our hands full.

Hotlaps/Qualifying the car felt good but I needed to push it harder. Was still getting comfortable sending it in under full throttle at a big track like Atomic.

Heat race we started 8th out of 9 cars and held our position. The car felt really good and I got really comfortable.

Feature time we started 15th and the car felt amazing, I felt very comfortable and started to get speed and was passing cars. We ended up 13th out of 17 cars. Pretty decent night and we got some good practice for our next race there.

Next week we are on to Florence Speedway.

Thank you so much to all of those that came out to watch, it made my night watching the sport mod feature with these kiddos and having them all come back and sit in the car. Stuff like that is better than winning in my book, we as drivers have to do better about getting kids and people into this sport to keep it alive. It was awesome to have all the support of my friends and family that came out to watch thank you all so much!
