So when we machined these oil caps we did use a valve cover to index the cap the correct facing position but finding out later that valve covers are not all made the same . You can see where we did machine a pin hole for indication .  Also the seal under is rubber so depending on you muscle arms out there it could be over tightened also. Go to Ace hardware or where ever you can to get a small oring to go under the factory seal I sent with cap. FUNNY THIS WAS BROUGHT UP . When I install the oil filter on my builds it does drive me crazy if I don’t see TOYOTA writing after installing .

Cleaning some 1985 22re injectors. You can see patterns are not good . By the end of the day they were like new.

Almost ready for the dyno. Stage 4 build with Forged flattop pistons, billet small journal I-beam rods ,36lb light weight crank shaft fully heat treated dual springs with titanium retainers and a 292 camshaft.
