Moving can be stressful, but with a little preparation, the process can go much smoother. Whether you’re moving in or out, here are five essential things to remember:

1. Start early and plan ahead: Planning ahead is crucial to a smooth move. Create a moving timeline and list everything you need to do—whether it’s hiring movers, packing up boxes or notifying utilities. The earlier you start, the less last-minute chaos you’ll face.
