Peoria, IL – The Peoria Police Department is asking the public for help locating 23-year-old Quaswajah Barnett, who has been reported missing.
Barnett was reported missing on September 08, 2026. She was last contacted by family on Sunday, August 06, 2026.
She was last seen wearing a navy-blue sweater with white letters, yellow shoes, black pants, and a red suitcase.
Barnett is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Photos of Barnett are attached to this release.
Anyone who has seen Barnett or has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Lawrence at (309) 494-8362.

On August 04, 2026, the body of an unidentified male was found aboard a CTA Orange Line train near Midway Airport in Chicago, Illinois. The circumstances that led to his death are unclear, and authorities have not yet determined his identity.

The male, late teens/young adult, Caucasian, possible Hispanic, weighed 144 pounds and stood 6'00" tall, with brown eyes and black hair. NO identification accompanied this male.

Wearing dark grey/black Selena shirt [unknown size], B&W checkered PJ pants, white Nike shoes. Several tattoos: on his inner left arm, a Gummo character with bunny ears sitting & smoking a cigarette [Bunny Boy], a possible motor/check engine light tat, an eye with red/black ink, cross on wrist, undetermined tattoo continuing on his arm.

Authorities are seeking information from anyone who may recognize his description or may have knowledge of this young man who was traveling on the Orange Line in the area of Midway Airport.
