Automotive Repair Service Writer (Full Time) (Chicago)
$35,000 to $46,000 per year pending experience
*This is the perfect position for an Auto Parts Salesperson or Auto Service Writer!!!
*The right Automotive Service Advisor will have experience in shop operations and
management.
*Strong automotive parts salespeople seeking work in the service industry are also encouraged to
apply.
*This job requires insight into the basics of automotive technology.
*Expertise in identifying and resolving a wide range of automotive failures and inconsistencies
utilizing visual inspections in conjunction with technician recommendations is required.
*Basic computer skills are required to calculate customer estimates and invoices.
*Good oral and written communication skills are required to interact with the staff and
customers.
*High energy level is a must.
*The correct Automotive Service Advisor will have dedication and loyalty to our customers
repair needs.
*The Automotive Service Advisor of this shop will normally be focused on satisfying the
customers through correctly determining the issues with their vehicles and explaining the written
quote.
*Once the repairs are approved, He/ She is required to ensure replacement parts are of top
quality and monitor the crew's work performance to ensure they adhere to quality assurance
guidelines.
*The Service Advisor's job also entails keeping the waiting room presentable and operating
safely in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
*Pay will be based on experience and future performance.
