🎓 UAW Local 551 is proud to announce the 2026 Roman Scholarship Award!

In honor of the late Steve Roman, we are awarding 25 scholarships in the amount of $500 each to graduating high school seniors from the Class of 2026 whose parent or legal guardian is a current member of UAW Local 551.

This scholarship is an opportunity to support the next generation as they take the next step toward their future. We encourage all eligible families to apply and share this opportunity with their seniors.

📅 Application Window: July 1st – July 26th, 2026

Applicants must:
• Be a 2026 graduating high school senior
• Have an active parent or legal guardian who is a current UAW Local 551 member
• Submit a copy of their college application letter
• Submit their high school transcripts

⚠️ Pothole Alert ⚠️

There is a large pothole in the left lane on 130th Street headed east toward the plant, just before crossing the bridge. Use caution and, if possible, move over early to avoid damage.
