We hear these all the time.

"They can't keep up on the highway." With a GM V8 and an upgraded driveline they cruise comfortably at 70+.
"You can't own one legally in the US." Any Defender that's 25 or older can be imported and registered in every state.
"Parts will be a nightmare." The engine and gearbox are GM, so any GM-capable shop can service it.
"It's just a restored old truck." It sits on a brand-new chassis with every wire replaced.
"Custom builds don't come with a warranty." Ours have two years bumper-to-bumper.
