Have you noticed a faint burning oil smell when your engine warms up, or spotted grime building up around the top of your motor? It might be time for a new valve cover gasket.

This gasket is simply a rubber or silicone seal that keeps engine oil inside where it belongs. Over time, normal engine heat makes it brittle, which leads to slow leaks. Catching it early prevents oil from dripping onto hot exhaust parts or damaging your spark plugs.
