Air filters are your car's first line of defense against airborne contaminants that reduce air quality inside your vehicle's passenger area and engine performance.

Under normal use, air filters should generally be replaced every 10,000 to 15,000 miles or per the owner's manual, or more frequently in areas experiencing heavy smoke and contaminants.

With the amount of smoke and debris caused by recent wildfires, it is likely that air filters in our area have been severely affected. AAMCO recommends motorists in impacted areas and those in surrounding states have their air filters replaced.
