Leaky fittings or seams are a common radiator problem. As a car gets older, the parts deteriorate due to wear and tear. In a car radiator, wear and tear takes its toll on hoses, clamps, sealed seams, and secondary fittings. If you have an older radiator, be aware of a rusted clamp, leaking seams, and split hoses.
