Been a rough/unlucky year, but Thomas and Ron are looking to finish strong! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Uc4oF5Fut/
Next championship spotlight⦠the Los Compadres UCARS.
Ten races, three different winners, nonstop beating and banging, every single race felt like someone different would be taking home the trophy.
In just his third season, Mikey Chinn finds himself in a position to pick up his first UCAR championship. With a 20 point lead over Thomas Fontaine, heβs basically just got to finish the race this weekend depending on the car count.
Chinns five wins are what he expected to have last season, but settled for two and a third place finish in points. His first season in the series, he finished second in points.
Thomas Fontaine battled early season mechanical issues, that put him behind on points. Heβs been playing catch up all season long, not even running his own car. Car owner Bill Eaker, decided to let Fontaine take over his own ride. Fontaines hopes of becoming a back-to-back champion is going to be a far stretch, as car count and/or bad luck for Chinn, are going to be a factor in this weekends race.
