Regular maintenance of the crankcase filter is crucial in diesel engines to prevent severe damage, notably oil pan gasket blowouts in 6.7 Powerstroke and timing case gasket failures in 6.7 Cummins. Fixing both is a costly repair, and we have done quite a few.
