Andrew started his journey into the professional motorcycle industry back in 2001 while attending Motorcycle Mechanics Institute ( MMI ) in Phoenix Arizona. Graduating in 2002 at the top of his class, he decided to move back to his home state of New York. While getting several offers of employment throughout the state of New York, he accepted a professional position in Rochester. After several years of professional experience, gaining knowledge in all aspects of motorcycle performance and repair, Andrew is 1 of only 6 factory trained and Master Certified Big Dog Motorcycle Technicians in the world. With extensive training across the country, he earned certifications in becoming a Master Level technician in Big Dog, Harley-Davidson, Victory and American Ironhorse. With over 18 years of professional experience, his focused mission is to be the best in the North East with the highest quality service. Branching his services into all 50 States and Internationally, Andrew has traveled overseas to parts of Sweden and Spain in order to help customers owning Big Dog, Harley Davidson and American Ironhorse motorcycles. Barnes Performance Cycles is currently located in Upstate New York, in the small city of Endwell. The secured shop covers 4000 sq ft of service area, making it the areas largest. With 5 high rise motorcycle/ ATV lift tables. 9000 lb vehicle/ UTV lift. Tire machine capable of mounting even the widest tires on the market. And all the tools needed to perform the job.

I've had the privilege to work on this beautiful Big Dog K9 since the original owner purchased it back in 2008. Back then, I was working as lead service technician for a dealership called Rochester Thunder, located in Rush NY.
It's new owner had me rebuild and bulletproof the transmission, rebuild the front end, including neck bearings. Install new tires and wheel bearings. Rebuilt the clutch with a 12 plate. Repaired engine rocker box oil leak. Full service.

Making them shine inside and out. Cosmetically appealing on the outside. Very beneficial on the inside.

By performing isotropic polishing of the gears, shafts and shift forks inside the transmission, it can increase the life of these parts by 300% This process will give the internal parts less friction, and in turn will generate less internal heat, create smoother shifting, cleaner oil, and increase power to the rear wheel. By performing this process along with using the highest quality bearings on the market, I'm able to offer my customers an 8 year warranty with my transmission rebuilds.

This 2007 Big Dog K9 from North Carolina received a complete transmission rebuild with upgrades, clutch rebuild with upgrades, complete front end rebuild including neck bearings, front and rear brake caliper rebuild with new pads and lines, engine oil leak repair and cam upgrade, new front tire with front and rear wheel bearings, new final drive belt, new Barnes Performance narrow body rear shocks, rebuilt and tuned carburetor, new Blow Performance Exhaust system, new headlight assembly with LED lighting, all oils and filters, frame up buff, polish, paint correction of all parts.
