🚛 Another great year with 7th Up Biz!

We had a fantastic time welcoming seventh graders from Cony Middle School to Statewide Towing as part of the Kennebec Valley Chamber 7th Up Biz Tour!

The students had the chance to:

🚜 Try out the skid steer
🚗 See how we lift a vehicle
🪝 Load and unload a vehicle for towing
🍪 Take a snack break and ask questions about what we do

And we loved having them here!

The 7th Up Biz Tour is an annual workforce development program that gives local seventh graders a firsthand look at businesses and careers right here in the Kennebec Valley. It helps connect what students learn in the classroom to real-world opportunities, introduces them to different career paths, and gets them thinking about their futures.

For students, experiences like this can open their eyes to careers they may never have considered. From operating equipment and towing vehicles to mechanics, heavy recovery, and the many skills it takes to keep a business running, there’s a lot more to our industry than meets the eye!

At Statewide Towing, we're proud to be part of a program that helps inspire the next generation of workers and shows students the opportunities available right here in our community.

A big THANK YOU to the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce for organizing another great year of 7th Up Biz and giving us the opportunity to participate. And thank you to the students from Cony Middle School for spending part of your day with us! We hope you had as much fun as we did. 👏

🚛 Celebrating the people who keep things moving! 💪

Last week, our Statewide Towing crew celebrated National Truck Driver Appreciation Week by heading over to PFG on Wednesday to cook for their crew.

This is the second year we’ve had the opportunity to do this, and it’s a tradition we’re proud to continue. Because supporting the people who work alongside us and understanding the long hours, hard work, and dedication that goes into keeping things moving is what being part of this industry is all about. ❤️

We’re proud to support our fellow drivers and the entire trucking community. Sometimes, showing appreciation looks like firing up the grill, serving up a good meal, and saying thank you for all you do!

Here’s to the drivers who keep America moving! 🇺🇸🚛
