Rear tail gate dual hing brakets install today. A little fit and finish due to galvanized coating. Otherwise fits good and works nice! Next is the rear step to assist climbing into the rear bed area for the bench seats to be installed later on in the build.

Preping spring perches for the rear axle upgrade to wide series 2a springs. I am removing the old axle tube that remains in the perch from Timm cutting it out of a parts axle. This is for the rear of the 1951 project series 1 80 inch, Timm Cooper found these and recommended them over widening the perches that were there already, stronger and looks proper too!
