After the trip to Key West, the Revology Boss 429 returned to the AMCM here in Melbourne, Florida, after covering more than 800 trouble-free miles on the round trip. Once it was cleaned up, we repacked for the much longer trip ahead. There were no issues to report, and the car performed great for the entire drive. One thing you really notice along the way is the amount of attention it gets, along with some interesting driving from other motorists trying to get into position for a photo.
From Melbourne, the car then headed north to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt Island. Farther up the coast, we stopped at the awesome Daytona International Speedway, along with the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. While we weren’t able to get on track at Daytona, we were able to get inside the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, which is the second-tallest lighthouse in the country, behind only the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in North Carolina.
Here are some photos from the second leg of our journey.
