We've gone back and forth on this for the last several days because this is honestly one of the hardest posts we've had to write.
After looking at every possible option, we've made the difficult decision to officially cancel the 4th Annual Factory Stock Showdown.
We know that's not what anyone wanted to hear. Trust usβit wasn't what we wanted either.
To every driver and team that came in Thursday for practice, raced your heat on Friday, and then watched the rain wash us out on Saturday... we're truly sorry. We know the time, money, travel, and preparation that went into this event, and we don't take that lightly.
Since that weekend, we've spent countless hours going over calendars, making phone calls, and trying to find a date that would work. We looked at our own schedule, weekends we weren't racing, the remaining RaceOn All-Star Challenge events, and every major race we could find across the region. We explored every option we could think of.
The truth is, there just wasn't a date that would allow us to put on the event the way it deserved to be run.
If there had been a way to make it happen, we would have.
Because of that, all Factory Stock entry fees will be refunded in full.
We also want to thank RaceON for working with us through this difficult situation. All drivers who attended the event will receive RaceON All-Star Challenge points for showing up, ensuring that no one is penalized in the championship standings because of circumstances beyond anyone's control.
We know some people will be disappointed, and we completely understand. Please know this decision wasn't made because it was the easy choiceβit was the hardest one we've had to make since taking over Super Bee Speedway.
If you have questions, don't speculate or wonder what happened. Pick up the phone and call us. We'll gladly talk with anyone. We believe our racers deserve honesty and transparency, and that's exactly what you'll get from us.
Thank you to every driver, crew member, sponsor, and fan who has stood behind us this season. Mother Nature has tested all of us, but she hasn't beaten us. We're going to keep working, keep improving, and keep doing everything we can to make Super Bee Speedway a place you're proud to race and proud to call home.
