A message from the owner...

Happy Friday y'all! I wanted to take this time and spur whoever reads to give, serve and look beyond ourselves and beyond the cars. This for a few reasons, I'd appreciate if you read this all the way through.

As you are reading this, I am on the way to Ashland, Kentucky as part of a mission trip to serve those in this area through the Send Relief Ministry Center that we partner with through my personal local church Journey Church Central Virginia. A customer of ours donated financially to this mission trip and outreach through just a simple conversation.

This week, I met with the Ronnie, the man behind The END Alzheimer’s Car Show this upcoming Saturday, October 10 (flyer attached). We talked about Alzheimer's and how pretty much everyone is affected by this disease at some point in their life.

All of this got me thinking...

If you are able to HELP, do so. Donate financially, volunteer your time, give beyond yourself, support businesses that also support these organizations. Below I've included a list of local non-profits and organizations that we believe in, champion and partner alongside of.

If you are reading this and you NEED HELP, ASK! There is no shame in asking, and believe there are still good people, businesses and organizations that are there to come alongside you.

One thing you have likely heard on 97.5 3WV or any other Charlottesville Radio Group station is to "Give Where You Live" and I am championing this. One thing you will hear on our upcoming ad on 97.5 3WV is that we at Cville Classic Cars are not just restoring cars, we are also helping to restore communities!

Giving Words VA - Helping Single Mothers with automotive needs
All Blessings Flow - Helping with medical devices and supplies in the Central Virginia Area
Alzheimer's Association - Raising awareness/funding for the disease

James 1:27 - Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Isaiah 1:17 - Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow

Same car, 50 years apart!

Purchased new by our customer, this Porsche has been around the world and back! While in the United States Air Force, he purchased the car while stationed in South Carolina and then got a new assignment in Germany where he shipped the car over to the country of the cars roots.

This particular car is a one year only vehicle as due to cost of building the 911s, Porsche decided to make a more affordable car in the 1976 912e (not to be confused with earlier 912 cars from 1965-1969 which was also a more affordable Porsche that was introduced after the ending of the 356 model). The 1976 912e incorporated a VW based 4 cylinder engine that Porsche reworked for the 914 Porsche which had just been discontinued.

We will have some more fun stories to tell on this car, its travels and its ownership over the following weeks so be sure to follow along!

Happy Saturday!

Good rainy day video to watch as Studio HotRods unpacks how much it costs to build a restomod!

While we are able to do full builds like these, we also pride ourselves on being flexible with a customers budget and time constraints as much as possible so it can be as affordable as possible, given how high these builds CAN go and possibly breaking these projects down into stages

Watch the video, Bible study at the end as well!

Resharing this to the top this Friday afternoon! Check out the video in the comments when you have some time on this 1 owner, 1961 Impala

Happy Friday! Sneak peak into an upcoming part of

If you've been following along, you know we are starting to tell the stories of our customer owned vehicles, especially the long time owned cars, handed down in the family cars, and surely some with just a wild wacky story to tell!

This month, we are telling the story of the 1976 Porsche 912e but before we dive into that, we want to give a peek into an upcoming project.

This 1961 "BubbleTop" Impala was purchased new by the current owners (Jim Spinello) father. Jim's son (Jeff Spinello), a Charlottesville-area local car guy, sought us out to take on a full restoration of this car and we have chatted through our backlog in great anticipation to work this rolling story of a car into our shop.

Watch the video in the comments, keep an eye out for updates and come see this car at

Beautiful weather today! If we could save today’s weather for the car show, would make for a great day.

Here’s an overhead shot from 3 years ago. While we can’t fly a drone due to proximity to the airport, we’ve got a few ideas to get some more good overhead pictures from our Fall 2026 show!
