It was a long, fun-filled Saturday, but the truck was shaking violently. I removed the driveshaft and U-joint from the back of the transmission due to wear on the U-joint and a worn-out carrier bearing. I sent the driveshaft out for repairs and balancing. After reinstalling the driveshaft and carrier bearing, I noticed some play in the motor mounts. Upon further inspection, I discovered that they were significantly worse than expected, with one broken and material missing. I replaced both motor mounts on the flywheel housing and also replaced the front motor mount to ensure the customer is ready to roll for the coming week!

What a long Wednesday night transitioning into Thursday morning! I was busy with service calls in the Kenly, NC area. I had a scheduled service for the installation of two steer tires, and another customer met me there for a set of steer tires and a leaking brake chamber. Once I wrapped up those main calls, a driver approached me needing a replacement for a trailer tire that had just blown out on his way into the truck stop. I took care of everything, and all the customers left happy and on their way!

During the Friday afternoon service on a 3126, all filters were replaced with OEM filters, along with new oil and a new air filter. Coolant and rubber were found in the fuel water separator. Unfortunately, I had to deliver the bad news about the injector cups failing.

- Removed both cab airbags and shocks; installed new ones.
- Removed all bolts and moved the fifth wheel back; set bolts to hold it in the new position (full installation to be completed tomorrow).
- Removed all rocker arms, Jake brake assemblies, and injectors.
- Removed camshaft due to pitting on the exhaust cam lobes.
- Installed new injectors and oil pressure sensors.
- Installed exhaust downpipe.
- Installed a new seat and connected it to the air system.
- Removed old bumper pole lights and installed new ones.
- Installed shift tower on top of transmission.

I completed the following tasks:
- Installed the oil pump, pickup tube, and supply tube.
- Installed the oil pan with a new gasket.
- Ran the engine harness and installed all airlines.
- Installed the turbocharger with new gaskets.
- Installed the fuel pump and power steering pump.
- Plumbed all fuel lines and pre-filled all fuel filters.
- Added oil to the engine.
- Installed the accessories on the engine.
- Replaced the standard lead acid batteries with new lithium batteries.
