We recently lent our 958.1 “Shish*to” to a client for the BITD 2026 Vegas to Reno, completing the famed desert run without issue.

After the event, the vehicle was left in Las Vegas. Eurowise Performance service manager John Arthur opted to travel to Vegas himself, rather than contracting a transporter, and took the opportunity to retrieve another vehicle…

…his long-forgotten R32 Skyline GTS-T Type M, owned since 2004 and left in storage in Salt Lake City for the past decade.

With a trailer acquired and the Skyline loaded, John set off back across the country to deliver both vehicles back to Charlotte, NC.

Over the Rockies and into the Great Plains, the Cayenne performed flawlessly, even with another vehicle in tow.

Fuel stops were frequent, but provided the perfect opportunity to share our passion for the Porsche brand and Cayenne platform with other like-minded enthusiasts.

From Wyoming…

…to Nebraska…

…and into Missouri…

…the Cayenne capably handled the payload and the mileage.

And after 2500+ miles driven…

…John returned to Charlotte with Shish*to and the Skyline.
