If you were at UNCC back in 2006, chances are you saw us, or heard us in the parking decks more than a few times. Taking pictures, wrenching on our cars, comparing mods, or just hanging out between classes.

Those decks were more than parking…they were our first “garage,” our meet spot, and sometimes our classroom. 😄

No permits. No plan. Just Mustangs, friendships, and a whole lot of noise echoing through concrete.

Hard to believe moments like this helped shape what Mayhem Mustangs would become 20 years later.

🏁Mayhem Mustangs at Auto Fair 2026🏁

What an incredible weekend at Auto Fair 2026! This marked our 30th Auto Fair together and officially kicked off Mayhem Mustangs’ 20th Anniversary Year — and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who came out, showed their cars, hung out, and made it such a great time. Every single car looked amazing, and the atmosphere was exactly what Mayhem has always been about — great cars, great people, and unforgettable memories!

It was also great to see so many of our OG members come through and say hi — That made the weekend even more special!

Congratulations to all of our winners — well deserved! 🏆

It was my honor to also give out the very first Founders Award to Brandon Cook and his 2001 Mustang Bullitt!!

It’s honestly hard to believe that 20 years ago when I started Mayhem Mustangs, I had no idea it would still be going strong and grow into what it is today. I’m incredibly proud of this group and grateful for all of you who have been part of the journey.

Here’s to 20 years of Mayhem… and many more to come!

Digging through the vault and this one caught my attention. 👀

This photo is from one of our very first Mayhem meets—back when the cars were a little rougher, the crowds were smaller, and none of us had any idea what this thing would turn into.

No plan at all...Just Mustangs pulling into a parking lot, hoods popping, stories flying, and friendships starting. This is where the foundation was laid—late-night talks, busted knuckles, and the shared obsession that brought us all together.

It’s wild to think that moments like this sparked 20 years of Mayhem!

Where were you in 2006?

I was sitting in Accounting 1 at UNCC when I met Rob Basile and we started talking cars. Pretty quickly we realized we had mutual friends, and that we both had an obsession with Mustangs. I was driving around in a '66 coupe, and he had a '98 GT.

We quickly came up with the same idea..."How cool would it be to have a club where Mustang people can hang out, talk cars, and work on them together?"

And just like that...Mayhem Mustangs was born!

Fast forward to today...we're celebrating 20 YEARS OF MAYHEM! 20 years of builds, burnouts, friendships, road trips, late night garage sessions and memories that only a true Mustang family can understand.

This year, we're taking a ride through our history. Buckle up and stay tuned as we open the vault and share stories, milestones, throwback photos, and everything that made Mayhem what it is.

Here's to 20 years..let's make this one to remember!
